Retired American Chemistry Expert(s) is requested to work with a promising South Korean EPDM manufacturer - Vacancy of a Process Plant Advisor

A world class chemical company in South Korea is hiring an expert in the area of EDPM, Plastomer, PE, PP commercialization process.

The position is temporal consulting position, which will likely be 3-4 months per year. for a couple of years, which will be determined after the mutual interview or contract negotiation,  of on-site consultation in the production facility of the client company in South Korea.

Travel expenses and the living expenses during the hired candidate's stay in South Korea will be fully covered by my client company, and a very interesting consultancy fee is offered, which will be determined  through the interview between the candidate and the client company.

The candidate should have at least 10 years of working experience of commercialization of the EDPM, plastomer, PE and/or PP. The candidate is expected to have acquired a M.Sc. or a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry(Inoragnic/ Organometallic /Organic Chemistry), Chem. Engineering (Process Planning and Development), Polymer Engineering (Polymer Manufacturing) or Related Subjects.

The detailed skills required by my client company is as follows(the candidate advises not practically involve in the R&D process. Role of the adviser suffices.);

(1) Research experience on Commercialization of PO (including EPDM, Plastomer, PE, PP) Catalyst, especially CGC or CGC-derivatives > e.g. ) monitoring and isolation method for impurities in Metallocene-based EPDM Products

(2) Developing experience on Setting up innovative polymerization process for EPDM, Plastomer, PE or PP
         
(3) Involved in Research on SSC (Single-Site Catalyst), CGC Type or CGC-Derivatives Polymerization
         
(4) Development / Studies experience on EPDM, Plastomer, PE or PP Polymerization with CGC,  CGC-Derivatives, Di-Nuclear SSC (Single-Site Catalyst)


The retirees of the international chemical companies are considered as the first priority.
